You may recall that we previously reported that Amazon had launched their latest cloud gaming service called Amazon Luna. It was able to stream games on the iPhone / iPad via PC, Mac, Fire TV as well as specialized web apps and they have now taken steps to extend this Game Streaming service to Android devices.
Android users do not need to download an app to use this Luna Game Streaming Service and the Chrome Web Browser can access the Luna Cloud Gaming Service.
Luna Cloud Gaming Service currently only supports a few Pixel, Samsung, and OnePlus smartphones. However, it can be expected that the number of these devices will increase in the future. Supported Android smartphones are Pixel 4XL, 4A, 4A 5G, 5; Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, Note 10, Note 10 Plus, S20, S20 Plus, S20 Ultra, Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7 Pro 5G, 8, 8 Pro, and Nord 7T, 7T Pro, 7T Pro 5G smartphones. Also, the Android OS must be 9 or higher and the Chrome version must be 86 or higher.
You can also play the Luna Cloud Game Service on Android devices using the Luna Controller as well as the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One controller.
